We utilize an online vendor to determine our shipping rates. The regularly
available shipping options will be displayed for you at check out. Please
realize that bulky, oddly-shaped, or heavy items are generally charged higher
rates by the carrier. We make every effort to package your items as efficiently
as possible to avoid excessive fees. We are able to ship using alternative
methods, but be aware that requesting a non-standard shipping method might
result in additional handling fees. Tracking numbers may not be automatically
provided by the freight vendor.
At Village Outfitters, items shipped to you come directly from our storefront
shelves. Staff will never intentionally ship damaged, or broken items. If we
wouldn't sell it in person, we won't sell it online.
Please inspect all packaging when it arrives. Freight can be subjected to rough
handling during transit. Claims arising from damage during transit MUST be filed
through the Freight Carrier. We can happily assist you through the process and
help you get a replacement item, but we are not responsible for damage arising
from third parties.
Should you have need to send something to us, we'll instruct you on a preferred
method. Without separate instruction we recommend that you use the same method
that we shipped to you. It is in your best interest to make sure returning
merchandise is in as good a shape as possible.
